Red ruffled felt wreath

I found this easy to follow felt rosette wreath tutorial by From Dahlias to Doxies. I thought this project would be perfect for Christmas.

Supplies:
Felt
Styrofoam ring
Flat head straight pins
Pearl straight pins
Scissors
Thimble

Instead of folding one circle in half and then folding it in half again, I folded one circle in half, then folded one side in to the halfway point, and then folded the opposite side over on top.

I did not add any ribbon for hanging since I am going to redo this but without the pins since they kept popping out.
